XD Right? It's the same with my cats. They don't get prescription food, but they eat Nutro Max. Try to give them anything else and they look at you like you're stupid.

I got out of working out yesterday because the gym was closed. :XD: It has this huge red sign nailed into the door. o__o Probably got condemned or something, which means my workout make take to the streets and balance ball!

I, too, should be writing my next chapter. v.v; I have all my ninja turtle fans hounding me for an update. I promised after Sacrifice was one, I would focus.

I don't mind keeping Mr. Zed on a scrip diet (it really does wonderful things for him, and a bag lasts nearly 2 months...) and he absolutely snarfs it down. liked it better than his old food, and would pick out the larger nuggets over the kibbles 'n bits.

Sucked it up last night and killed myself upon Teh Torturer, so it counted after all. Maybe after another glass of wine, I'll jump on it again (not enough to get stupid, but definitely enough to make things interesting). Maybe I should just stick to drunk writing? Definitely safer.

It's been like pulling teeth trying to get this latest chapter out... interest in the story is waning, but I want to finish it. So frustrating!

LOL I did notice Zed has kept a nice figure. Think he'll share his secret? You shouldn actually be very proud, most corgys are chubsters.

I'm pretty much doing the same thing as you. Well, I'm supposed to be. I skimped earlier today, so I'm trying to talk myself into going tonight. *sigh* I'm doing a lousy job convincing myself.

It's kind of a dump, but my complex has a gym. It's nice, though, because it is definitely heating up and we cannot afford a/c. So, naturally, we rack up the complex's bill instead! :D

his secret is that his food is basically sawdust. no lie. that's what it looks like it's made of, anyway. his vet recommended that he be on Hill's T/D formula to keep his teeth clean, and the added bonus is that he hasn't gained much weight on it, half a coffee mug in the morning, half in the evening (and there's practically nothing to scoop up afterwards and it's awesome that way). the walks help as well. when it was still nice and cool, I'd take him on a nice 3 mile walk a couple times a week. wore Mr. Stumpy-Legs out. now.... too hooooottt! poor dog's fur is so thick that he gets overheated in the summer. and while I love summer, I hate the heat. he might chunk up a little bit, but he's perfectly happy to stay inside for the next few months.

I swear, that dog gets better care than his masters do. Meh, he's my kid-analogue.

maybe I need to start snarfing his kibble... blegh. at least I got yesterday's workout in this morning with the yard. hadn't mowed in 2 weeks almost, and the grass was almost knee-high! Mr. Zed gets lost in the back, so I do it for his sake. and as I'm staring at the evil machine they call elliptical (was a freebie, and it'll bust my butt anyday) maybe I should get in today's as well (so it counts as done according to my schedule).

geez, I'm blabbin' away on the keyboard. might need to divert some of the typery towards WD's next chapter. maybe tomorrow after work. the spouse will be away on a fishing trip, and I'll have none of the distractions that come with co-habitating, save for the dog's needs. yay!

I'm by no means obese, I wouldn't really even be considered overweight, but I don't want to let myself get that way. Obesity runs in my family. I think the hardest part of my workout is when there are no instant results. :XD:
Hidden by Owner
insta-results would be awesome. could stand to lose 20 here <glares at scale>

got the whole gamut of metabolical disorders...LOLdiabeetus. makes it more challenging, b/c I've got to regulate meds, food intake AND activity. blah. I'm typing this as I angrily chomp upon a carrot, in penance for that steak I had last night.. and this morning.. mmmcow.

I've got a self-imposed bootcamp for the next few weeks. basically, run/elliptical (it's been damn hot this week) 30 minutes every day plus some upper body weights and abs. so far, so good. next week it gets bumped in intensity. add a few minutes and reps, otherwise similar routine. I try and vary it a bit, just to keep from working the same stuff every day. been getting some activity a few days per week and I've noticed my stamina's way better for it, but the fluff just won't disappear. tempted to try a body wrap, though I think it's a bunch of crapola.

at least mr. Zed's nice and slender from all the walkies...

Yeah... my waist line need work too... :depressed: I'm supposed to run everyday, but I've been weaseling my way out of it recently. I really just need to suck it up. *sigh*

At the risk of sounding like a complete recluse... what is facebook? :|

every time I see the scale creep up, I get more ill with myself. ugh. so far this week, I've either run or hit the elliptical for half an hour... which is pretty good for a total couch slug (still too skinny to be a Hutt, but alas the jeans are a bit like sausage casing at the moment). I've never been athletic, so it feels like total catch-up.

it's bigger than myspace. apparently, I was a total recluse as well, because I only signed up maybe a week ago, and everybody that I know in the world is on it (friends and family). social networking site, basically.

:glomp: Been wondering where you were!

abso-freakin-loutely busy with other matters. not that I'm ever really busy, but the little distractions that I'd been neglecting were screaming for some attention. esp. the waistline >not happy<. outside a bit more with the dog, and otherwise sucked into facebook, as I finally succumbed to the dark side. amazing what happens in a decade! geez!

I need to re-read your latest, because I was too lazy to leave a review, albeit what did stick in my head was pretty good.
